In Warsaw a rent strike has been going on since Oct.1. Despite the
fact that the issues may effect up to a quarter of a million people in
Poland’s capital city, we cannot say that a significant percent of
public housing tenants have joined. This is mainly due to a lack of

something typical in many post-Soviet bloc era countries. There is
also the issue of a minuscule grassroots social movement and the
disdain of the left for anything radical and outside the realms of
reformist and party politics. [1]

By Sergey Chernov, Staff Writer
As antifascist activists marked the fifth anniversary of the murder of the

In connection with the situation about repression of anarchists and
social activists getting worse WE – anarchists, friends and nearests of
repressed ones – are calling you to take part in Days of Solidarity with
belarus Anarchists on the 10-13ths of December 2010. We consider that
only international protests against repressions of independent activists
trying to change things in Belarus for the better are able to make
Lukashenko give the go-ahead to stop mass arrests and to close political
cases of Dedok, Frantskevich and Vetkin.

Continued…

At one o’clock this afternoon, Saturday, November 6th, approximately one-hundred anarchists blockaded the front entrances of one of the largest french-owned Carrefour supermarkets for nearly two hours here in Athens, Greece. With large banners declaring solidarity with those revolting in France, the group prevented shoppers from entering the franchise Carrefour, while distributing flyers and texts outlining the struggle that emerged in France over two weeks, causing major economic disruptions through massive blockades and strikes, as well as rioting and sabotage. The texts were distributed inside the store and to the workers.
