Will the Spanish state deport writer that has been granted asylum in Finland to Russia?

According to writer Petr Silaev, the Spanish special tribunal Audiencia
National has begun the treatment of his extradiction to Russia. The
Spainish state has not at any point acknowledged that Silaev has been
granted asylum in Finland. Will the Spainish state deliberately break
Finland's asylum decision and at the same time EU law?

Silaev was granted asylum in Finland in April this year due to political
persecution against him in Russia. The Russian Federation wants to see
Silaev sentenced for the demonstrations related to the protection of the
forest near Khimki (Moscow). The highway planned to be buildt through the
Khimki forest raised strong protests in 2010.

Silaev was arrested in Granada in August 2012. The reason for his arrest
was an arrest order issued by Russia via Interpol. Silajev was first
detained and then forbidden to travel in the Spanish state. On Monday 29th
of October the trial concerning Silajev's transfer continued in Madrid.
The court ignored all documentation concerning Silajev's asylum in Finland
and ended with starting preparations for the deportation of Silaev.

“In no trial documents it is mentioned that I have asylum in Finland”, a
confused Silaev explains.

Silaev's treatment is becoming a precedent that puts into question the
whole concept of asylum in the EU. If it is possible to deport a person
granted asylum in an EU state to the country where he or she has fled
from, no asylum existed in the first place.

It is also curious why the Spanish state follows the will of Russia in
this case. The EU Parliament stated in September 2012 that the human
rights situation in Russia has weakened significantly recently and the
judicial system is being used for political purposes.

“Who would have thought that after all the fuss about the Pussy Riot
-trial, an EU member state would deport a person that has suffered from
political persecution to Russia. Especially when Silaev has been granted
asylum in another EU country”, Antti Rautiainen criticize. Rautiainen has
translated Silaev's book Exodus to Finnish.
