On 6th January 2010 the police arrested 23 people in Ankara (Turkey) by
using brutal force. The arrests occurred during a demonstration and
press conference for the immediate release of the imprisoned military
objector Enver Aydemir. One person among the arrested demonstrators has
been detained: our comrade and anarchist Volkan Sevinc has been in jail
for 40 days. We protest the imprisonment of Volkan Sevinc as well as
the planned conviction of 19 other comrades to prison sentences between
1-10 years on the indictment "discouragement of the people from doing
military service". We’re going to meet on Saturday, 13 February 2010
simultaneously in Ankara and Istanbul as not yet convicted,
killing-refusing antimilitarists to do another demonstration with the aim of "discouraging people of doing military service". […]
We
invite all comrades worldwide to join us in protesting against the fact
that the lives of people who oppose killing are transformed into a
prison, and the fact that they are imprisoned and tortured. We invite
all refusers, antimilitarists
and anarchists to protest the state and its institutions by doing
demonstrations and actions on 13 February 2010, for example in front of
the consulates / embassies of the Turkish state. We invite you to show
solidarity with our comrade Volkan Sevinc, who is exposed state terror,
and with all political prisoners worldwide.

Am 13. Februar sind wir auf den Strassen, um die ?Bevölkerung vom Leisten des Militärdienstes abzubringen?. Wir sind überall!
Am
6. Januar 2010 wurden in Ankara 23 Personen unter Anwendung brutalster
Gewalt von der Polizei festgenommen. Dies ereignete sich während einer
Kundgebung und Pressekonferenz für die sofortige Freilassung des
inhaftierten Militärdienstve rweigerers
Enver Aydemir. Unter den Festgenommenen wurde eine Person inhaftiert:
unser Genosse und Anarchist Volkan Sevinc befindet sich seit 40 Tagen
in Haft. Wir protestieren gegen die Inhaftierung von Volkan Sevinc
sowie dagegen, dass 19 weitere GenossInnen mit dem Anklagepunkt
?Abbringen der Bevölkerung vom Leisten des Militärdienstes ?
zu Haftstrafen zwischen 1-10 Jahren verurteilt werden sollen. Wir
treffen uns am Samstag, 13. Februar 2010 gleichzeitig in Ankara sowie
in Istanbul als noch nicht verurteilte, das Morden verweigernde
Anti-Militarist_Inne n, um ein weiteres Mal eine Demonstration mit dem Ziel, ?die Bevölkerung vom Leisten des Militärdienstes abzubringen?, durchzuführen.
Wir
laden alle Genoss_Innen weltweit dazu auf, gemeinsam mit uns dagegen zu
protestieren, dass das Leben von Menschen, die das Morden ablehnen,
seit Jahren in ein Gefängnis verwandelt wird; dass sie inhaftiert und
gefoltert werden. Wir laden alle Verweigerer_Inn en, Antimilitarist_ Inne n
und Anarchist_Innen dazu ein, gegen den Staat und seine Organe zu
protestieren und rufen sie zu Kundgebungen und Aktionen am 13. Februar
2010 auf, beispielsweise vor den Konsulaten/Botschaften des türkischen
Staates. Wir laden euch dazu ein, euch zu solidarisieren mit unserem
dem Staatsterror ausgesetzten Genossen Volkan Sevinc sowie allen
anderen politischen Gefangenen weltweit.

6 Ocak’ta Ankara’da, tutuklu Vicdani
Retci Enver Aydemir’in serbest bırakılması için yapılan basın
açıklamasında polisin müdahalesinin ardından 23 kişi gözaltına alındı.
Aralarından sadece biri tutuklandı. 40 gündür hücrede tutuklu bulunan
arkadaşımız anarşist Volkan Sevinç’in tutukluluk halinin devam etmesini
ve gözaltına alınan 19 kişinin "Halkı askerlikten soğutmak" suçuyla
1-10 yıl arası ağır cezalarla yargılanmalarını protesto etmek
amacıyla, savaşmayı ölmeyi öldürmeyi reddedenler olarak "Halkı
Askerlikten Soğutmak" amacıyla Ankara ve İstanbul’da bir yürüyüş
gerçekleştireceğiz.
Savaştan yana olmayan, barış isteyen tüm vicdanları anti-militarist,
anarşist tutsak Volkan Sevinç’le dayanışaya ve "Halkı askerlikten
soğutmaya" çağırıyoruz.
