Today (30th of July) names of two activists, arrested in related to criminal case on “hooliganism” after attack against city administration of city of Khimki in Moscow region 28th of July were published in maintream news – Aleksey Gaskarov and Maksim Solopov.

Der Artikel auf de.indymedia.org ist qualitativ ziemlich umfassend und mit zahlreichen Hintergrundinformationen ausgebaut. Ich habe ihn im Folgenden vollständig kopiert, auch in Hinblick auf die Verfestigung von Daten im Netz:
Im Sommer dieses Jahres ist der brennende Konflikt wegen der Abholzung des Waldes in der Nähe der Moskauer Nachbarstadt Chimki eskaliert. Seit Jahren kämpfen die Bewohner_innen der Stadt und Aktivist_innen aus Chimki und aus Moskau gegen die Abholzung des Waldes. Die Baufirma setzt Neonazi-Schläger gegen Öko-Aktivist_innen ein. Um die Kritiker_innen zum Schweigen zu bringen, werden lokale Journalist_innen bedroht, zusammengeschlagen und umgebracht. Die Polizei hat neue Repressionen angefangen. Alexey Gaskarov und Maxim Solopov befinden sich in U-Haft. Ihnen droht bis zu 7 Jahre Haftstrafe, nur weil sie zu den wenigen Sprechern der sozialen Bewegungen in Moskau und in Russland gehören, die in der Öffentlichkeit auftreten und die Inhalte der Bewegung offen vertreten und propagieren. Es ist dringend Solidarität benötigt.

Current collective have decided to leave infoshop Revolver in Prague’s district Nusle and move closer to city centrum, next to one of the most traffic main road, to the site where freight railway station Žižkov is located.
Main reason for change is low interest of people for clearly political „caffé“. Also few years ago infoshop Krtkova kolona had to solve that problem. After we moved to Revolver the situation have not improved.
Decision to end clearly political infoshop does not mean we want to abandon concept of infocentrum. Infoshop in spaces of Discentrum will work in better or at least unchanged way.

August 15, 2010 after the football match of Ukrainian Premier League between Arsenal (Kyiv) – Volyn (Lutsk) the most severe armed neo-Nazi attack on football fans happened. During the match Arsenal supporters displayed antiracist banners and banners in support of arrested Russian antifascists thus demonstrating their antiracist views for the first time in public.

Am Donnerstag den 29. Juli wurden unsere Genossen Aleksei (Ljoscha) Gaskarow
und Maksim Solopow von Einheiten des „Zentrum E“ („Extremismusbekämpfung“) in
Moskau verschleppt, und befinden sich seitdem in Untersuchungshaft. Diese
Haft wurde am 31. Juli Aufgrund eines Gerichtsbeschlusses in Chimki zunächst
auf drei Tage verlängert – aufgrund mangelnder Beweise. Am 3. August folgte
eine weitere Haftverlängerung für die sozialen Aktivisten auf weitere zwei
Monate.

On July 24 there was a protest in a Carrefour supermarket in Warsaw against the humiliating treatment of workers
imposed by tbe management. (We wrote about this here: http://cia.bzzz.net/carrefour_poland_humiliates_workers) The protest was directly related to the
introduction of the "red dot" system where employees have to stand on
red dots in the middle of the crowded market to speak to their
managers. It came out that workers even had to stand there if they
wanted to take a toilet break.
