In april of 2009, there was a fight between local anti-fascists and right-wing football hooligans in Naberezhnye Chelny. As a result, leader of right-wing hooligan firm "C.G.F. Guard" "Ferz" Trubin, a police lieutenant, and his comrade "Melnik" went to the police, and a criminal case was opened against anti-fascists with whom they were familiar in prior. Currently 4 local anti-fascists are charged with a felony of "Armed hooliganism, with a group of people against a government official" (statute 213, second part of Russian criminal codex), which carries a prison sentence of up to 7 years.
Situation is difficult also due to fact, that the case is investigated the very same police station, where Trubin is working, and is based on his testimony. Trubin claims that he presented himself as a police officer, but anti-fascists hit him with a bottle and beat him up, also he claims to have a displacement of a Vertebra, but it is unclear where and how it was caused. But in reality Trubin did not showed any documents, he was not on duty and nobody hit him with a bottle. Currently, case is investigated, and money is urgently needed for legal costs of the anti-fascists, as if police version is accepted in the court, anti-fascists will receive real prison sentences.
