Although the reconstruction of events has been done, the prosecution
is dragging out the case.  Yesterday the police took one of the
comrade’s computer.  They also want to call in four other members of
ASI and force them to give testimony.

This is more police harrassment and a blatant attempt to keep the comrades in detention without any charges.

100 people demonstrated yesterday, at the 2nd of october in front of the serbian embassy in
athens. here is the text that we demonstrated and some photos.

Belgrade’s
Pride Parade for lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender men and women
was organized to take place on Sunday, the 20th of September 2009, at
the main square of Belgrade. The day before the Parade, on Saturday
morning, the Pride’s organizing committee received a letter from the
Prime Minister which was informing them that the Parade was prohibited
for “security reasons”. The Serbian authorities refused to guarantee
the safety of the Parade’s participants by controlling the fascist
groups that had planned an anti-parade in order to disrupt the lgbt
demonstration. The police declared that they were not in position to
protect the Pride March of the lgbt and queer community and revoked the
permit.

The investigative phase of the case was meant to come to a close on
the 28th, however people are still being questioned. Greek Embassy
people who were supposed to testify did not show up.

A member of ASI was interrogated and the police are calling more of them in.

If the investigation concerns a crime which carries a sentence of
more than 10 years in jail, the comrades may be held up to six months.

Although things are not certain, it looks as if the police have
decided to prolong the case as long as possible. In this case, we call
for the escalation of protests.

On 29th of September 2009, a protest was held in front of the Serbian embassy in Budapest.
The
coalition of anarchist movements of Budapest, together with the
activists from Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Slovakia stated their
support for the imprisoned anarcho-syndicalists in Belgrade.

Our call to anarchist and anti-authoritarian comrades

Global capitalist elites will be welcomed by insurgent and resistance fires on the streets when they come to Istanbul to deliberate their neo-exploitation plans.

The global rage of the world populations who are bled white, who are kicked out of their homes, who are estranged from their lands and forced to emigrate, who are subjected to brutal immigrant laws, who are confronted with police-army state and enormous oppression in any slight oppositional movement, who are confined in prisons and murdered, shall reflect on the streets of Istanbul as a rebellion practice. Global capitalists and their local governments must know that as in Seattle, Genoa, Prague, Athens and Strasbourg, they shall be confronted with further resistance against further exploitation plans.
