[georgia] Police attack on Inclusive Foundation

Dear all,

On December 15 2009 the office of the Inclusive Foundation, a well
known Georgian LGBT organisation, was raided by the police. They did
not wear police uniforms, did not provide a search warrant, did not
inform about their identity or agency they represented and did not
explain the purpose of their intrusion.

Manifesto of the January 19 Committee, Moscow

On
January 19, 2010, a year to the day from the murders of Stanislav
Markelov and Anastasia Baburova, we, the organizers of an antifascist
march, call on you to join our campaign against neo-Nazi terrorism.

The word fascism has been utterly devalued today. It is hard to find
a political movement that avoids branding its opponents as “fascists.”
But there are also meaningful interpretations of this term. Many of
them have a direct bearing on what is taking place in contemporary
Russia.

Border Monitoring Project Ukraine

In October 2008, the Border Monitoring Project Ukraine (BMPU) was
established, it is a joint initiative of Ukrainian and EU-based NGOs.
The BMPU is a result of the NoBorder Camp 2007 in Uzhgorod/Ukraine. On
the one hand, the focus of the project is to document cases of
unlawful return/refoulement/readmission of refugees and other vulnerable
migrants from European Union countries to Ukraine and follow up their fate in
Ukraine. On the other hand, the project aims to help migrants in
Transcarpia in their daily struggles. Subsequently, we aim to build
pressure in order to put an end to these practices.
Please visit our new webpage and find out more about the situation on
the Eastern borders of the EU, the situation of migrants and
refugees in Ukraine and the activities of the BMPU:
 www.bordermonitoring-ukraine.eu
The webpage is updated at least once a week to highlight arrests,
returns and deportations and policy developments in the region.
Greetings,
Bordermonitoring Ukraine

The action of solidarity with the Russian anti-fascists and social activists passed today in Denmark.

Activists from Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia and Poland came to the
embassy of Russian Federation in Copenhagen, to put flowers and light
candles to the pictures of a killed Russian antifascists.
In the last few years in Russia due to the connivance of authorities,
the level of aggression of neo-nazis has sharply increased. Their
victims are gastarbeiters from the countries of the former U.S.S.R. and
Far East, as well as social activists.
The only opposition to neo-nazis are antifascists.
