On the 27th of May, judge Zhanna Khvoynitskaya sentenced the Belarusian anarchists Ihar Alinevich, Mikalaj Dziadok, Aliaksandar Frantskievich, Maxim Vetkin and Yeveni Slivonchik. The young men were accused of a number of political actions, amongst which was the attack against the Russian embassy in Minsk in August of 2010. Continued…

annotation: I understand the following text as a part of campaigning against repression and not as person-cult for individual activists. There is no reason to focus on “very active” antifascists and biographies in an anarchist context, but it is very important to support active people against state (and capitalist) repression.

Maxim Solopov is one of the most famous anti-fascists in Russia. Born in Moscow in 1989, he considers himself a social activist. Wie sich unlängst herausstellte, wurde der Antifaschist Denis Solopow, der sich derzeit in Kiew in Abschiebehaft befindet, am 9. Mai ohne Angabe von Gründen in den Karzer des Untersuchungsgefängnisses verlegt. Offenbar entschied sich die Gefängnisleitung an dem Tag, als in der Stadt Lwiw Neonazis massive Präsenz in der Öffentlichkeit zeigten, den russischen Antifaschisten auf diese Weise zu gratulieren.
