gathering individuals and groups all agreeing with the necessity to create international links in order to fight against the what we would call the logic of capitalism.
Why should we do it in Istanbul and why in 2013 ?
Numerous meetings take place in the western countries, thus excluding quite a number of potential participants. Considering the turkish geopolitical situation, Istanbul appears to be a good choice for that kind of project. An easy location for Europeans and Turkish people to reach and not that far for Caucasians or participants from the Middle East. Continued…

Oktober 2010. Continued…

comment: As announced allready several months ago, the Rote Flora squat in hamburg plans an international day of action, now the date is fixed for the 17th of december. We had some presentations about our squat in several cities. Articles related to that are to be found here: künstler_innen fabrikaneignung in karaburma, belgrad, anarchist bookfair in zagreb, discussion about Rote Flora. The first call out was quite difficult to understand from my point of view, but still the project Rote Flora is very important as a symbol and convergence space in hamburg, so i would like to encourage you to act in solidarity.

i just found an interesting looking blog from an anarchist, who writes about ex-yugoslavia, especially about krajina serbs.
The description of the blog is the following:
“Offering a left-wing, liberal, libertarian, social-democratic, progressive, ethical, anarchistic, socialistic, individualistic and pacifistic view of the Balkans, and demonstrating understanding and compassion for all its various people.”

In Vienna, one day before the global day of action 15th of October, people started occupying a huge building. It has been opened as a social center named Epizentrum, for the neighborhood and the whole city, and it is right now in a humming process of being built up.

Continued…

Yesterday, a public presentation about the nobordercamp in bulgaria 2011 took place in hamburg at the “antira-kneipe“, a monthly antiracist pub in hafenstrasse, st.pauli. Activists from hamburg and greece presented the initiative “welcome to europe” (w2eu), the construction of the nobordercamp in bulgaria and talked about the general situation of border-regime in bulgaria. One important topic pointed out are the ongoing deportations and forced return of roma people especially from hamburg to balkans, especially serbia, macedonia and bulgaria. Additionally some information was given about the recent pogroms against roma people in bulgaria.
